Send Your Customers A Personal Message This Christmas

Impressing Your Customers

Every year it gets more difficult to impress your customers. Although in previous years an email containing an animated gif may have been a fun and festive way to get in touch, letting them know you are thinking of them by sending a quick email possibly won’t quite cut it this Christmas.

Personalised Christmas Cards

To make your message really personal we’d advise taking advantage of the Christmas season to send out personalised Christmas cards, printed with their name right on the front – like those shown below. That way they will know you’ve gone to an extra effort to make their message really personal. Digital printing techniques mean that there are now a large number of techniques available when it comes to comes to making bespoke Christmas cards. These include not only printing on the front as show here, but also printing your customer’s names on the inside of the card, using scanned signatures (saving you from signing hundreds of cards) and including either your logo or perhaps even your customer’s.

Hand Signed CardsWriting Merry Christmas By Hand

Although scanned signatures are possible to ensure your customer feels really special we would certainly recommend adding to the effect by hand signing your cards on the inside. If you have time to hand write a personal message this could really add to the effect – and who knows they may even pick up the phone to personally thank you – giving you a great opportunity to mention your latest products or deals.

Hand Writing Your Envelopes

The final technique we’ll mention here is the use of a hand written envelope – research has shown that these can really improve your card’s open rate. If you are not up for hand writing hundreds of envelopes it may be best to put your customer database to good use and mail merge print the envelopes, or use stickers to get your cards to their destinations.
