Planning Application Maps

When submitting planning applications your local authority will ask you to provide evidence of your situation. These planning application maps are suitable for submitting as evidence for planning applications.

We recommend our 1:500 plans for planning applications regarding normal UK urban street addresses, and 1:1250 plans for large residencies and rural addresses. Our OS Sitemaps are based on the Ordnance Survey data used by your local Authority and are suitable for use as planning application maps.

Our Maps And Service

Our site centred Planning Application Maps are plotted on A4 or A3 paper, depending on coverage required. They are supplied by post or as a PDF by email ready for printing. The standard 1:500 Site Plan covers 80×80 metres and the Location Plan covers either 200×200 or 400×400 metres depending on the scale selected. So that you can order with confidence we will produce digital proofs for you to confirm area selection. Before final delivery we can even add redlining to highlight an area of interest. Once we are sure we’ve got everything correct we can produce you a properly licensed map.

Our speedy PDF by email product includes a licence for you to print six copies of the Planning Application Map yourself at home or in your office. If you would prefer us to handle the printing, we can post them out to you. We can also provide  them for local collection from our Colchester town centre shop.
